Property Is Currently Condemned by the City Of Spartanburg because of the repairs needed. Based on our conversation with the City, we gathered the information below:
Reason for condemnation:
The property located on 162 Cornelius Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301 was condemned, due to the property not having any running water and the bathrooms floors are not safe, floor has issues due to hole. The city of Spartanburg determined that the state that the property is currently in, is not fit for human occupancy.
Steps needed to restore the property to an acceptable state:
1. Hire a licensed contractor to do the work.
2. Go down to the City of Spartanburg Building Inspections and pull a permit to have the work started regarding the floor. Permit can be provided the same day or might take a few days. Once the permit is approved, the work on the floor can get started
3. Once the floor work is completed, go down to the City of Spartanburg Building Inspections to ask for a reinspection for the property 162 Cornelius Rd, so they can inspect the work and once the inspection passes they will release it from condemnation.
4. Water service will need to reconnected.
5. Ensure smoke detectors are installed and working.
